Willow Springs is here! Pre-Race Happenings.

Well we made it here. In pretty good time too. That S2000 on the left is my buddy from work, Dave Funston. He's been out here numerous times but this is the first time we are here together. We've been talking smack to each other for nearly 4 years on who the track King is. (I know who it is)

Now it should be said that he's actually done serious track time where I haven't. I've only touched on some minor street racing myself. Yeah, I'm such a bad boy. Anyway now we are finally going to be on a real race track. Full corner workers, rescue on stand by and a hell of alot of other drivers and their cars.

To record this stellar event that will surely generate stories of legend for many generations we have two video recorders. One is even HD! Of course there will be picture taking. The pictures here are some from my cell phone.

Check out the quality Devonshire Inn that we are calling home for a night. As have many $30 whores I assume.

So that's it for tonight. I need some sleep. Drivers meeting is at 7am, ack!

Here is a great run through of the track and in the direction we will be going. The instructor is taking it easy as it is a video for beginners. Still, alot of fun awaits!
