Think your Audi R8 needs to stop better?

Can be yours for the cool price of thirty-two big ones.

American car makers FAIL again. This time GM.

GM has decided to give up on the new G8 and Soltice. Some of the best cars they've made to date. The Soltice is even selling quite well. The G8 has been reviewed by most as the first car America has produced that finally can be compared to the Germans. (even though it is made by the Aussie's really)

But none of that seems to matter. Mr. Lutz.....

Team orders and two points.

I think everyone watching the race, except the FIA stewards paid for by Ferrari, laughed their asses off at Kimi giving way to allow Massa to pass to stretch the critical point gap to one. (hey like last year!)

This is the same kind of BS the stewards handed us when they took Hamiltons point after giving position back to Kimi. Even the SpeedTV announcers were amused at the "free" pass this China race.

So...with this and the previous BS...I am at peace. Hamilton IS the champion. He did it. FIA may have taken it from him but I ignore that. Their calls were complete BS and most the motoring press agrees. Congrats to Hamilton for winning the championship! Well deserved!!! wOOt!

One note....anyone notice just after Hammy got out of his car and hugged his friends, ALONSO shook his hand and patted his back? Massa and Kimi ignoring him?

"I will do what I can to help Massa win"

"There are just certian people at McLaren I don't want to see win."

Both quotes spoken by Alonso at the press conference.

Dick.

Did the auto giants finally get to TESLA?? BOO!!!

The $60,000 four seat all electro sedan is no more AND they closed the Michigan office. Or could it be the crappy economy?

Some times we find heros...

A TRIP TO BIZZARO WORLD.

My god...is this what is in store for us yanks pertaining to Top Gear USA? I just watched a segment from Top Gear Australia's first ep. It also included a test drive by their 'Stig' on their 'track'.

It was so...un-well-hosted...so...un-well-paced...I mean...no words.

And get this...now do we only not have to fear Top Gear USA and this Australia...but...Top Gear USSR.

GOOD NEWS!!

It took me a few days to recover from the hipocrisy of that last post. I just had to realize it was Kevin .. and he's rarely rational or unbiased.

However, I found some news that will make all of us happy! Top Gear will return to the UK airwaves (or cable bandwidth, as it were) on November 2!! Be sure to scour your favorite torrent sites and grab the new series!

Massa finally took off the mask and we've seen the true face.

Unbelievable race in Japan....

Everyone knew the pressure on Hamilton and Massa for the championship. Hamilton for sure had to place somewhere in the points, anywhere. Even if it meant no Ferrari points this round, ensuring Hamilton didn't get any was on everyone's mind.

I can assure you deep in the bowels of the Ferrari mind trust words were spoken...words that at any time an opportunity arrose--to take it. Risk the penalty, hell even risk losing the car, just stop Hamilton. Those words may have seemed futile to all in the room knowing Hamilton was on P1. But life gave them a snack, a free snack.

Hamilton blows his start. Amazingly Massa sees before his eyes the very thing discussed in silent exchanges earlier that day. As they enter the chicane Massa is faced with the same situation Hamilton was faced with against Kimi. Except Massa, knowing his orders, goes for the risk of penalty or even car destruction to take Hamilton out. He choses not to cut but to RAM.

Executed perfectly, minimal damage to Massa's machine of death but achieving the ultimate in Hamilton, spun him. He could hoped for maybe 4 to 6 positions lost but even better it put Hamilton completely in the back. His task of getting Hamilton out of the points this race complete. Definitely worth the simple drive through penalty. Victory was his.

But like anyone who choses the Darkside there are side effects. In this case the young Siths choice allowed his Emperor to once again find himself not only on the podium but in P1. BACK-2-BACK for Alonso.

To think that the only time this season Alonso sees the podium...for them all to be in P1...I shudder.
